I was intrigued by the rave reviews for Abercrombie Curve Love Jeans, despite having a straight silhouette from the hips down. The key difference between these and regular Abercrombie & Fitch Jeans is an additional 2 inches of fabric through the hip and thigh area, designed to eliminate the waist gap issue common in high-waist jeans.

When I tried them on, I noticed the extra fabric, which wasn’t flattering for my body type.

However, these jeans aren’t meant for me – I purchased them solely for review purposes. That being said, they would likely look great on someone who needs more room around the hips, as they do accentuate curves.

The quality of the fabric remains high, and the jeans are available in a broad size range with five length options, making them a solid choice for those seeking a curvy fit.

The Abercrombie Curve Love Ultra High-Rise 90s Straight Jean in Light Wash caught my attention with its trendy angled button, but ultimately, it wasn’t for me. While the cut does cinch the waist nicely, I just couldn’t get on board with that particular design element. On a separate note, I also ordered another pair of Curve Love Jeans from Abercrombie, this time in Medium Destroy Wash. Unfortunately, these didn’t quite work out either.

They’re a straight leg style with generous room throughout the legs, hips, and thighs, but unlike other styles from A&F, they felt noticeably snugger on the waist. To make matters worse, I perceived them to have a shorter inseam overall. Needless to say, these weren’t my cup of tea.

Fit Details

The 25-inch inseam on these denim jeans was undoubtedly too short, with the fabric feeling slightly stiffer than other styles. While still soft to the touch, it doesn’t offer the same level of flexibility that some may be accustomed to. On the other hand, the straight leg design does provide a looser fit throughout the leg, with a slight excess of fabric at the knees.

I’m thrilled with my purchase of the All Day Comfort Stretch Denim jeans, which fit true to size and come in a range of lengths (5) and wash styles (9). I opted for both the Medium Destroy and Light Wash options, and I’m keeping both – they’re that comfortable! Interestingly, the Medium Destroy watch fits better with a 25 inch inseam, while the Light Wash style looks great at 26 inches.

If you’re used to skinny jeans and looking to stay on top of the latest denim trends, I highly recommend giving these a try. They feature a flattering fit through the waist and hips, with no unsightly gaping in the back.

I was initially mistaken about receiving the Abercrombie high rise mom jeans as part of my order, but I’ve since come to appreciate the similar style in their mom jean shorts.
