Glamorous Mafs Hens Party On Sydney Harbour

As MAFS weddings go, they’re often preceded by unforgettable hens parties. Jules Robinson, one half of the beloved couple from the hit television series Married At First Sight, recently shared the inside scoop on her spectacular and sidesplitting celebration aboard a Sydney Harbour sailing vessel. According to Jules, it was nothing short of ‘the best day ever!’ The event’s photographer, Julian Rinaldi, captured the unforgettable moments.

Jules kicked off the day in style with an intimate gathering of 22 close friends at Blow Bar in Balmain. As they indulged in a luxurious hair and makeup pampering experience, the group savored every moment with expertly crafted espresso martinis, champagne toasts, gourmet cheese plates, and even a topless waiter catering to their needs. The festivities didn’t stop there – a DJ kept the energy high as Jules and her girlfriends claimed the venue all to themselves.

The bride-to-be beamed with delight, exclaiming that this was indeed ‘no better way to start the day’.

As if the girly glamour wasn’t already at an all-time high, Jules received an unexpected surprise at Blow Bar – a crown that had caught her eye earlier and which she had casually mentioned to a friend as being perfect for her. It wasn’t until very late in the evening that the crown finally came undone from her head. Her enthusiasm was palpable as she exclaimed, ‘It’s absolutely fabulous, I can’t wait to wear it again!’

Surrounded by the picturesque backdrop of Sydney Harbour, the wedding party exuded elegance and refinement, with guests dressed in crisp all-white attire, complete with flowing dresses and stylish summer hats. In a playful nod to her special day, the bride-to-be opted for a striking baby pink top adorned with jewels, deliberately choosing to make a statement amidst the sea of white. Jules noted that this thoughtful touch resulted in breathtaking photos, with everyone looking radiant and ‘fresh’.

In a delightful pre-wedding celebration, Jules’ friends cleverly orchestrated a playful Q&A session to gauge how well she knew her soon-to-be spouse Cam. The activity revolved around his thoughts on Jules, with one standout response being that ‘she makes me laugh every day,’ highlighting her impressive ability to bring joy into his life.

To make the experience even more special, thoughtful touches like customised shot glasses and monogrammed C and J cupcakes added a personal touch, making it an unforgettable memory for both the bride-to-be and her soon-to-be husband.

A memorable moment from Jules’ hens party was when a dancer dressed as a fireman made a surprise appearance on a water taxi. This unexpected twist added an extra layer of excitement to the celebration, leaving Jules and her friends in stitches. The 30-minute performance was described by Jules as ‘incredible’ and one of the funniest experiences she’s had. The entire boat erupted in laughter, with everyone thoroughly enjoying every moment of this unique magic mike show.

As we sailed aboard the luxurious yacht Entourage, the highlight of the day wasn’t just the delectable poke bowls served with De Bortoli wines and champagne, but rather the joy of being surrounded by great friends. Jules reveled in dancing around the harbour, her favourite part of the day, and enthusiastically declared she’d gladly relive it all again.

For Jules, the secret to a truly unforgettable MAFS hen’s party lies in embracing surprise and trust. She recommends letting your friends take the reins, as it adds an extra layer of excitement and intimacy to the celebration. While it’s essential to be prepared for the day after, she also emphasizes the importance of having essentials like vitamins and water on hand. With these tips in mind, you’ll be well on your way to creating a memorable experience for the bride-to-be.
