In 1993, Jacqueline and Scott’s love story began. After years of sharing adventures and creating unforgettable memories together, they decided to take their relationship to the next level by exchanging vows. Their whirlwind romance began on a night out in 1993, where the couple’s paths first crossed. As their connection deepened, the thought of being apart became increasingly unbearable. Scott’s overseas trip with friends served as a poignant reminder of their longing for each other – the days ticked by at a glacial pace, leaving them both eager for his return. Upon his homecoming, it was clear that the next logical step in their relationship was to take the plunge and move in together.

A precursor to their wedding day, the couple had a close call at the altar when Scott initially proposed to them not long after they started dating. However, the lady in question had been married previously and felt it wasn’t the right time for another marriage. Fast forward to February 2020, following a transformative journey, she decided to turn the tables and ask Scott to marry her.

In a romantic twist, she invited her two closest friends to join her at a music festival atop Mount Panorama on leap year day. As the sun dipped below the horizon beneath a stunningly decorated archway amidst a sea of friends, she got down on one knee and popped the question. Scott’s response was a humorous nod to their earlier near-miss, followed by a resounding ‘Yes!’

The bridal party boasted an intimate gathering of loved ones, including Jacqueline’s closest friends and two lovely daughters. Scott, on the other hand, had a strong contingent of male family members by his side, comprising his brother, son, and grandson. The bridesmaids brought a touch of whimsy to their attire, donning flowery pink bohemian dresses in varying lengths, paired with delicate floral accessories that perfectly complemented their hairstyles.

In contrast, the groomsmen opted for a more laid-back approach, sporting blue jeans and crisp white or pink linen shirts adorned with bold red or white roses. The ceremony took on an extra layer of warmth when Jacqueline’s brother-in-law had the privilege of walking her down the aisle and giving her away, infusing the proceedings with a sense of family tradition.

The bride’s whimsical charm was undeniable, as she wore a show-stopping floor-length design from Spell! The lace masterpiece featured elegant bell sleeves, an intricate swirled pattern, and a delicate train that added to her regal beauty. To complete the ethereal look, the bride opted for relaxed curls and a shimmering headpiece that caught the light.

Adding a touch of emotional depth to her overall appearance was the bouquet she held throughout the day, a thoughtful gift from a friend who couldn’t attend the wedding. The bouquet, which had been lovingly prepared with baby’s breath and ribbon, served as a heartfelt reminder of the couple’s special bond.

At Bishops Court Estate in Bathurst, a charming boutique hotel set amidst a picturesque Victorian manor house, the reception took place against a serene backdrop of grand trees adorned with sparkling pink and white Christmas baubles. The vibrant outdoor area was further enhanced by rustic table settings featuring jars wrapped in ribbon and hessian material, accented by lush florals, soft candlelight, and whimsical love signs painted in hues of pink and gold.

To infuse the atmosphere with a sense of warmth and familiarity, the couple scattered cherished pillows and ornaments from their own home throughout the venue, creating a cozy and inviting ambiance that felt like a true reflection of their love story.

Jacqueline’s remarkable journey, which began in 2018 when she returned from a family trip to Byron Bay, had a profound impact on her love story. The program proved to be incredibly effective, with Jacqueline losing an astonishing 38kg.

This transformative experience not only restored her self-love and confidence but also gave her the motivation to prioritize her own needs, including getting braces to showcase her new smile. With a renewed sense of purpose, Jacqueline proposed to her long-term partner on February 29th, 2020, marking the beginning of a new chapter in her life.

Today, she is not only basking in happiness but also empowering other women as a Super Coach, helping them achieve their goals and find their own path to self-love and fulfillment.
