Lucinda and Simon’s love story began in the unlikeliest of places – Tinder. Initially, Lucinda was hesitant about sharing their origin story, but over time, she’s come to embrace it as a sign of the times. Their whirlwind romance was sparked by an instant connection that left them both feeling like they’d known each other for years.

It’s a sentiment that’s been passed down through generations in Lucinda’s family – her parents, who met on a Saturday night and got engaged just three days later, have been inseparable for 42 years and counting. With a love story like that, it’s no wonder Lucinda believes in the power of true love.

Lucinda and Simon’s engagement story is one of romance and magic. Although they didn’t rush into getting engaged like Lucinda’s parents, they still had a fairytale-like experience. After exploring Europe together, the couple settled into a luxurious honeymoon suite in Santorini, where they spent their evenings sipping champagne and taking in breathtaking sunsets. It was during one of these romantic moments that Simon decided to pop the question.

He got down on one knee, looked lovingly at Lucinda, and asked her to be his wife. Reflecting on the moment, Lucinda describes it as ‘pretty magical’. The newly engaged couple then returned to Sydney, where they celebrated their special news with a lavish party for 110 of their closest friends and family in the stunning Sydney Harbour.

As the wedding day dawned, the couple seized the opportunity to bond with their closest friends and family before the festivities began. Over morning coffee, they spent quality time together, followed by champagne toasts later on, surrounded by their bridal party. This pre-wedding ritual allowed them to tackle all the photo opportunities ahead of time, resulting in a relaxed atmosphere for the big day.

For Simon, his four groomsmen donned sleek Ted Baker suits, with the groom himself opting for a stylish Canali suit. Lucinda’s own bridal party consisted of her sister, sister-in-law, and two best friends, all of whom radiated elegance in their emerald green silk SHEIKE dresses that perfectly captured the wintry theme.
