This enchanting venue holds a special place in their hearts, as it has been the backdrop for their annual Valentine’s Day celebrations.
As fate would have it, Dom simply couldn’t contain his excitement, opting to bring forward the surprise dinner by a weekend, much to Olivia’s delight.

With a shared vision of a luxurious and romantic celebration, the couple sought to create a timeless atmosphere that would leave a lasting impression on their guests. The inspiration behind their wedding design stemmed from Olivia’s stunning modern dress, which served as a guiding light for the entire aesthetic.
To bring this vision to life, they incorporated elegant white elements throughout the wedding stationery, including custom invitations and bonbonniere, accented with a touch of magic courtesy of golden foil. Each guest departed with a beautiful candle as their parting gift, a subtle yet thoughtful reminder of the couple’s love story and commitment to one another.

While originally envisioning a celebration with 300 friends and family, Dom’s Lebanese heritage and Olivia’s Macedonian roots made it essential for them to maintain a larger gathering. However, the pandemic’s restrictions forced them to reassess their plans. Undeterred, they still managed to solemnize their union at St Joseph’s Maronite Catholic Church, surrounded by 100 cherished loved ones.
The ceremony took place amidst a stunning backdrop of white roses, harmoniously complementing the wedding decor and opulent theme.
Opulent Celebrations…
The lavish reception at Doltone House in Sylvania Waters was a visual feast. The room’s dark features provided a striking backdrop for the abundance of fresh white florals and crystal candleholders that adorned each table. Alternating tables showcased a combination of acrylic floral stands and stylish candle holders, with black linen tablecloths and chairs creating a chic offset.
The pièce de résistance was the long head table, positioned towards the back of the room, where the wedding party sat in style. The table’s design complemented the stunning bright white florals and candles that ran along its length, drawing the eye to the show-stopping 7-tiered cake. This masterpiece of a cake was set against an acrylic table with an elegant orchid feature, complete with gold calligraphy bearing the happy couple’s initials and special date.
Traditional Entertainment…
The couple’s wedding celebration was a sensory experience like no other, blending traditional and extraordinary elements to create an unforgettable atmosphere. A dynamic lineup of live drummers performed at both their homes and the ceremony, setting the tone for an evening of merriment and revelry. As the night unfolded, a talented mix of Lebanese musicians and Macedonian bands took over the stage, filling the room with infectious rhythms and melodies that had guests dancing in the aisles.
Hosted by Jacob Hacklany, the reception was an energetic affair, with R&B and classic hits getting everyone on their feet. Later, Jacob brought things to a romantic close with a heartfelt rendition of John Legend’s ‘All of Me’, as Olivia and Dom shared their first dance under a canopy of cloud-like smoke and twinkling sparklers, bathed in the warm glow of the surrounding lights.
Dream Wedding Gown…
With Micheline Mokdassi’s unique design sense, creativity, and attention to detail, Olivia’s wedding attire truly shone. Her stunning nude and silver beaded gown, designed by the talented designer, exuded luxury and modern-day elegance. The dress was a masterpiece, featuring intricate Swarovski beading, a detachable overskirt, dramatic sleeves, and a sheer backless design secured with traditional back buttons.
Micheline’s inspiration for the gown came from five wedding dresses that Olivia had shown her when sketching out her dream wedding look. Meanwhile, Dom looked dashing in his traditional black tuxedo, complemented by a patterned blazer and stylish black cufflinks, providing a sleek contrast to Olivia’s show-stopping gown.
