Savannah And Matts Twinkling Celebration

With an eye for romance and elegance, Savannah and Matt envisioned a wedding celebration that shone bright like the ocean’s sparkling waves. They chose a palette of soft whites, blues, and beiges to bring their vision to life, resulting in a breathtakingly beautiful ceremony overlooking the sea, where they exchanged vows and sealed their love with a tender ‘I do’.

The love story of this endearing pair began during their high school days, when they first laid eyes on each other. Since then, their bond has only grown stronger, with the couple confessing that they rarely encounter disagreements and attribute their unwavering affection to being unable to bear the thought of being apart.

Matt had a special plan in store when it came time to propose to Savannah. As someone who has spent significant time in Japan and is proficient in speaking the language, Matt always felt drawn to the vibrant city of Tokyo. He knew just the spot to pop the question – a romantic rooftop location that would provide breathtaking views and an unforgettable atmosphere.

It was here that Matt asked Savannah to be his forever partner, making the moment even more meaningful due to their shared experience in this city they both loved.

As the planning commenced, Savannah and Matt shared a clear vision for their special day: an ethereal celebration bathed in warmth. Their desire for an abundance of twinkling lights, candles, and luminous details was palpable, with a specific goal to illuminate their family home overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

This vision ultimately gave rise to a timeless and classic wedding aesthetic, characterized by a soothing palette of white, blue’s varying hues, and natural tones that harmonized with the oceanic backdrop.

In a private ceremony in Utah, the couple exchanged vows and solidified their love. Following the intimate nuptials, they invited loved ones to join them at Savannah’s family estate in Santa Barbara for an unforgettable celebration. The picturesque property provided a stunning backdrop, with the rolling mountains serving as a breathtaking reminder of nature’s beauty.

As guests gathered on the lawn, the serene atmosphere was punctuated only by laughter and joy, making for an unforgettably special day.

As the special day unfolded, the couple was surrounded by loved ones. Matt stood tall with his four groomsmen, all impeccably attired in their classic black suits that exuded a sense of timeless elegance. Meanwhile, the bridesmaids added a pop of vibrancy to the proceedings, donning stunning mismatched blue gowns that harmoniously complemented the overall aesthetic of the celebration.

The bride’s fairytale-like appearance was elevated by a one-of-a-kind design from renowned international designer Galia Lahav. The champagne-hued gown dazzled with intricate details and an abundance of sparkling accents, perfectly complemented by a timeless cathedral-length veil. A lush bouquet of white blooms and delicate greenery added the final touches to her enchanting overall look.

The wedding’s color palette was inspired by the bride’s affinity for white hues, subtly elevated by blue undertones. This classic aesthetic was further enhanced through the strategic use of lush florals, including garden roses, peonies, and ranunculus, which added a touch of romance alongside eucalyptus’s crisp freshness.

As the big day approached, the groom wanted to make sure his guests were left speechless with an unforgettable entrance. Instead of walking down the aisle, he decided to arrive in style on a motorcycle – a surprise that would leave everyone in awe. To take it up a notch, he chose the iconic ‘Mission Impossible’ theme song to play as he rode into the ceremony, adding an extra layer of excitement and whimsy to the moment.

What’s more impressive is that this wasn’t just a one-off stunt – the groom had taken the time to learn how to ride the motorcycle specifically for the occasion, showing his dedication to making the day truly special.

The wedding reception was a true masterpiece, transporting guests to a whimsical world of sensory delights. A lavish buffet spread offered an interactive culinary experience, with stations featuring mouthwatering pasta creations and tantalizing Brazilian BBQ. Amidst the opulence, mismatched wooden tables were transformed into intimate settings by rich blue velvet drapes, while white floral centrepieces echoed the elegance of the bride’s bouquet.

The overall aesthetic was a masterclass in subtlety, with understated touches of gold adding depth to the predominantly white tones. Meanwhile, a canopy of twinkling lights, spherical chandeliers, and lush vines created an enchanting ambiance that enveloped the entire space.

They emphasize the importance of keeping the engagement brief, just long enough to make arrangements for the big day and build excitement for the marriage.
